This graphic woven apron was referred to as a "pig-killing apron" and was worn during certain festivities in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea. The woven rectangle measures 12" in length with an additional 17" of fringe. Please see detail view below. Early to mid-20th century. #2147  SOLD
