This graphic woven apron was referred to as a "pig-killing apron" and was worn during certain festivities in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Made of tightly woven fiber, links of rattan and bits of cuscus fur, it measures 13" wide by 18” high plus pig tails and is mounted on foam core for hanging. Please see detail view below.
